Lindsay Patterson is the co-founder, co-host, and executive producer of Tumble Science Podcast for Kids. As Tumble’s “science sleuth,” Lindsay brings curiosity and storytelling together to uncover how science really works — and why it matters. She’s a journalist and creator who helped shape the kids’ podcast landscape, inspiring families and classrooms around the world to listen and learn together. Lindsay lives in Massachusetts with her husband and co-host, Marshall, and their two kids, who are passionate audio fans (and occasional idea contributors).

Marshall Escamilla 

Co-Founder, Co-Host, and Composer

Marshall Escamilla is Tumble’s resident musician, co-host, and co-founder — also known as the source of many dad jokes and sound effects. A former classroom teacher with 17 years of experience, Marshall brings a deep understanding of how kids learn into every episode. He writes and records all of Tumble’s original music, turning scientific discovery into something you can hum along to. When he’s not making songs about black holes or bacteria, Marshall is likely playing guitar, reading history, or testing new material on his two in-house critics (his kids).

Sara Robberson Lentz

Co-Founder, Managing Editor, and Program Developer

Sara Robberson Lentz is a co-founder, managing editor, and program developer for Tumble. A science communicator and strategist, she specializes in transforming complex ideas into stories that kids — and their adults — can’t stop talking about. Sara helps shape Tumble’s big picture: guiding editorial direction, partnerships, and educational programs that bring science storytelling to life in classrooms and communities. She’s also the mom of a young audio fan and animal lover, who occasionally makes surprise “guest” appearances on the show if you listen closely.
