Why Do Teachers Play Podcasts in the Classroom? Survey Results

60% of teachers are using podcasts in their classroom, according to our recent survey.
But why? Here's what teachers told us:
▶️ 68% - Curriculum alignment
▶️ 61% - Podcast content
▶️ 53% - Personal enjoyment
▶️ 34% - School support
Here's the big takeaway: Teachers are looking for podcast content that is aligned to their curriculum. They're motivated to play podcasts as part of their teaching.
But there are other contributing factors. Teachers enjoy listening to podcasts on their own, and they want to share that enjoyment with their students. When their school supports podcasts in the classroom - with equipment, resources, and trainings - it makes pressing play easier.
