SARA ROBBERSON LENTZ is our editor. Sara has loved math and science since she was a little kid. She got into STEM communication not just to inspire people to like science, but to correct the power dynamic that is caused by low science literacy. When people are afraid to learn something they don't have a chance to question it. She wants kids, and really anyone, to know that science isn't just for the experts. Science is a way to understand the world.

Sara is an audio producer and proud Transom Alumna. She also is the Digital Managing Editor for the UT Austin, and proud mom to Juniper.

LINDSAY PATTERSON is the founder, co-host and producer behind Tumble. Her background is in public radio and science reporting.  Her not-so-secret secret is that she never "got" science until the day she interviewed an actual scientist. It was only then that she figured out that science doesn't already have all the answers. Scientists are still asking really interesting and important questions about the world. She got excited to tell those stories, and has been telling them ever since, for public radio on podcasts. She's married to Marshall and is mom to Emmett.

MARSHALL ESCAMILLA
co-hosts the show and creates original music for each episode.
He brings the educational perspective to Tumble, as well as his wit and good looks. During the day, he's a music teacher. He taught at the Headwaters School in Austin for 14 years, working with kids from elementary school to high school. Imagine a School of Rock type situation, with jazz band and music theory thrown in for good measure. Marshall has his Masters in Music Education. He is married to Lindsay and is dad to Emmett.

"All life is an experiment. The more experminents you make the better. What if they are a little coarse and you may get your coat soiled or torn? What if you do fail, and get fairly rolled in the dirt once or twice? Up again, you shall never be so afraid of a tumble."-  RALPH WALDO EMERSON
